About Chris Cooke
I am an experienced education professional with a background as a secondary SENCO, advisory SENCO and local authority SEND adviser. In my capacity as an adviser I have worked across all phases from primary to further education. My work has focused on supporting schools to improve SEND provision, strengthen inclusive practice and ensure that vulnerable learners receive appropriate, well-considered support.
I believe that effective inclusion is built on clarity, strong relationships and confident leadership. When systems are too complex or inconsistent, outcomes for children and young people suffer. My approach is to help schools simplify, align and strengthen their practice so that inclusion becomes both meaningful and sustainable.
I am committed to improving outcomes for learners with additional needs through practical, evidence-informed support that respects the realities of schools while holding a clear focus on equity and belonging.

"My work combines strategic oversight with practical, relationship-based understanding of how SEND systems operate in real school contexts. The aim is always to strengthen clarity, confidence and outcomes for learners."
